On May 25-30, 2023, the Fifth National High-level Forum on Comprehensive Utilization of Coal Gangue was grandly held in Yulin, Shaanxi. The meeting was hosted by Industrial Solid Waste Network and co-organized by Quangong Machinery Co., Ltd.
The meeting invited more than 550 experts, scholars and industry insiders from the government, enterprises, scientific research institutions, coal mines and other fields to discuss the latest technology and development trend of comprehensive utilization of coal gangue. The speech was based on the “Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste”, which clearly adheres to the three principles of reduction, recycling and harmlessness, and vigorously promote the resource utilization and harmless disposal of solid waste materials such as construction waste, industrial solid waste, and tailings solid waste, Relying on the deep processing technology of solid waste raw materials, starting from improving the added value of products, a large number of new high value-added building materials, such as permeable bricks, curb stones, blocks, garden landscape bricks, Hermetic PC Stones and other small prefabricated component products have been realized through solid waste “turning waste into treasure”. It provided successful cases for many domestic enterprises to finally realize the recycling of solid waste resources and achieve both economic and social benefits, and showed participants different solid waste treatment solutions.
