On the evening of January 28, the 5th Maritime Silk Road International Art Festival (referred to as the “Haiyi Festival”) opened in Quanzhou, Fujian, attracting 52 cultural groups from 43 countries and regions and more than 1,600 artists, experts and scholars, etc. Participated in the grand event together.
The Haiyi Festival permanently settled in Quanzhou in 2014 and has been successfully held four times before. It has become an important stage for carrying out foreign cultural exchanges and cooperation, enhancing people-to-people connections, and inheriting and carrying forward the “Silk Road Spirit.”
A delegation of officials from foreign embassies and consulates in China from Peru, France, and Mozambique went to various places in Quanzhou to explore Quanzhou’s “Maritime Silk Road Culture.” Quanzhou’s diverse and rich history and culture left a deep impression on officials from foreign embassies and consulates in China.
On January 28th, the delegation also visited Quangong Co., Ltd., one of China’s first batch of individual manufacturing champion demonstration enterprises.
