Recently, Li Wei, Chairman of the Shanghai Industrial Intelligence Industry Alliance, visited Fujian Quangong Machinery Co., Ltd. for an inspection and exchange visit. He was warmly received by Quangong Machinery’s General Manager, Fu Xinyuan, and Deputy General Manager, Fu Guohua, who accompanied him on the tour and participated in a roundtable discussion.

On December 27, 2025, the State Council issued the *Action Plan for the Comprehensive Management of Solid Waste*. The document calls for strengthening the comprehensive utilization of bulk solid waste. It emphasizes enhancing the capacity for the comprehensive utilization of smelting slag, tailings, associated minerals, red mud, and construction waste; strengthening the efficient extraction and holistic utilization of valuable components; and promoting the diversified utilization of coal gangue in a manner tailored to local conditions. This signifies that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the state will intensify regulatory oversight and investment in the field of comprehensive solid waste management. Currently, many cities across China face practical challenges regarding solid waste disposal; consequently, the environmentally friendly and resource-oriented utilization of solid waste has become an inevitable trend in industrial development, opening up vast new avenues for growth within both the solid waste management sector and the market for new building materials. Amidst this dual opportunity presented by favorable policies and market demand, Chairman Li Wei visited Quangong Machinery with the specific aim of precisely aligning with industrial technology requirements, tapping into the potential for government-enterprise collaboration, and driving the high-quality development of the solid waste resource utilization industry through the deep integration of resources and technology.

Chairman Li Wei toured Quangong Machinery’s core production areas—including its precision machining workshop—and conducted an on-site investigation of the company’s eco-block molding equipment designed for solid waste resource utilization. He examined the equipment’s overall layout, production processes, end-to-end processing systems, and production capacity. Furthermore, he gained a detailed understanding of Quangong Machinery’s core technologies, operational principles, and practical application results regarding the transformation of various solid wastes—including construction waste, industrial waste, and tailings—into usable building materials, thereby obtaining a comprehensive overview of the company’s R&D capabilities, product portfolio, and global operational strengths.

Following the on-site inspection, both parties engaged in extensive discussions regarding potential future collaborative projects, focusing specifically on the industrial implementation and realization of solid waste resource utilization initiatives. Moving forward, the two sides pledged to maintain close coordination, facilitate the successful implementation and tangible impact of collaborative projects, and empower the high-quality development of the solid waste resource utilization industry. The Shanghai Industrial Intelligence Industry Alliance was jointly initiated by the Zhang Zhizhong Cultural and Educational Foundation and the Shanghai Industrial Cooperation Promotion Center, in collaboration with leading enterprises, financial and research institutions, and universities. Focusing on core domains such as intelligent manufacturing, digital twins, and industrial upgrading, the Alliance aims to construct an open technological ecosystem guided by the philosophy of "AI-Driven, Global Win-Win." Through resource integration and innovative services, the Alliance promotes the intelligent transformation of traditional industries and the cultivation of strategic emerging industries, establishing a collaborative platform spanning industry, academia, and research to resolve bottlenecks in corporate growth. Leveraging technologies such as digital twins and human-machine collaboration, the Alliance is dedicated to forging a new paradigm for industrial intelligence; furthermore, through data sharing and ecosystem co-building, it addresses global challenges—such as those in healthcare and energy—and explores pathways toward future sustainable development.

Tailoring its efforts to the intelligent transformation needs of enterprises, the Shanghai Industrial Intelligence Industry Alliance offers 13 core services spanning the entire industrial value chain. In the realm of financing support, it has established a supply chain finance platform and partnered with financial institutions to broaden channels for corporate financing and mergers & acquisitions. Regarding technological empowerment, the Alliance leverages the ecosystems of industry leaders to provide digital twin and "AI+" collaborative platforms, thereby precisely matching technology supply with demand. For resource integration, it facilitates direct channels between government bodies and enterprises, utilizing the Alliance's institutional credibility to support the successful implementation of projects. In terms of international expansion, the Alliance mobilizes global resources to organize exhibitions and events, fostering cross-border connections in technology and market access. For talent cultivation, it collaborates with universities to establish practical training bases and engineer platforms, thereby addressing the talent gap in the industrial intelligence sector. Additionally, the Alliance provides complementary support services—including crisis management, strategic advisory, and smart city solutions—covering scenarios such as intelligent urban planning and green architecture, all aimed at accelerating technology implementation and industrial upgrading.
