Learning through research and empowering through industry! Chengyi College faculty and students' practical experience at Quanzhou University of Technology.

Recently, to support enterprises in strengthening their supply chains, promote interaction between universities and enterprises, and facilitate the integrated development of the industrial and talent chains, the Quanzhou Industrial Economic Development Promotion Center, in conjunction with Jimei University Chengyi College, successfully held the "Quanzhou Industrial Study Tour + Industry-Education Integration" activity. The event organized university faculty and students to visit Fujian Quangong Machinery Co., Ltd., a leading global manufacturer of concrete products machinery. More than 80 people participated, including faculty and students from the Quanzhou Industrial Development Center, the Department of Management at Jimei University Chengyi College, and relevant personnel from the study tour site.

In the first-floor exhibition hall, the sales manager of Quangong Machinery introduced the company's overview and development history, explaining the "Intelligent Equipment Cloud Service Platform," which provides 24/7 online real-time service to global customers.

In the equipment manufacturing workshop, visitors toured various specifications and applications of products manufactured using Quangong Machinery's brick-making machinery, including wall blocks, paving stones, flood control materials, ecological slope protection, and gravity retaining walls. In the exhibition area, laboratory, assembly workshop, and debugging workshop, visitors learned about the company's product manufacturing process.

In the conference room, staff from the Equipment Section of the Quanzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology explained the basic situation, development history, and future prospects of Quanzhou's equipment manufacturing industry; a promotional video of Quanzhou Machinery Industry Co., Ltd. was also shown.

Fu Binghuang, Chairman of Quanzhou Machinery Industry Co., Ltd., participated in the symposium, sharing his successful entrepreneurial experience and encouraging students to cherish the current favorable growth environment, master their skills, work hard, and be self-reliant to demonstrate their value in the future; he also extended an invitation to teachers and students to apply for talent.

Professor Zheng Hua of the Department of Management at Jimei University Chengyi College, representing the study tour group, expressed sincere gratitude to the Quanzhou Industrial Development Center for its meticulous preparations and to the participating companies for their high-quality hospitality. She believed that this study tour allowed teachers and students to not only experience the creation and manufacturing processes at the forefront of the industrial sector in a fast-paced and content-rich manner, but also to learn entrepreneurial practices and wisdom from the successful experiences shared by industry professionals, resulting in a fruitful study tour.

Zhou Yang, a student in the study tour, said that this study tour allowed him to experience firsthand the entrepreneurial spirit of the people of Quanzhou, appreciate the technological power of new industrialization, new quality productivity, and multi-dimensional publicity and sales management methods that empower modern industry, and learn valuable success experiences from front-line entrepreneurs. It was a very beneficial experience for his future studies, work, and entrepreneurship.

This event, guided by the Quanzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, was well-prepared, fast-paced, rich in content, and diverse in format: it included inter-city study tours to promote and showcase Quanzhou's billion-yuan-level arts and crafts and equipment manufacturing industries; workshop presentations to extend professional classrooms to the front lines of industrial production by university faculty and students; and the integration of industry and education to promote development, fostering mutual growth between industry, city, and people, further extending the mutual support between industry and talent, and contributing to the high-quality development of Quanzhou's billion-yuan industrial cluster. Next, the Municipal Industrial Development Center will continue to launch "Quanzhou Industrial Study Tours + Industry-Education Integration" activities in various professional sectors to promote interaction between schools and enterprises, strengthen industrial chains, and attract talent.
